Integer Rules for Multiplication

If both integers have the same +ve sign, then just add the value and keep the sign same, ie + as in picture below;

If both integers are negative, then add them just ignore the -ve sign, and finally put in the answer of negative integers, this means having same sign should be added together as in the picture;

When adding two integers with different signs, subtract the smaller absolute value from the larger absolute value and take the sign of the number with the larger absolute value.

Multiplication & Integer Division:

If same integers with same sign, the result will be positive and if with different signs, the result will be negative. as in picture

Trick to remember integers operation rule, just to remember always multiply the signs of integers, if signs are same of two integers then result is always positive, if they are different then result shall be negative. Here is the work sheet to practice and check it on the above calculator.
